Welcome to the sunniest city in the entire world!

Perth is a very modern city with a few skyscrapers and the most beautiful beaches you've ever seen. It is 100% one of my favourite cities ever.

FREE ACTIVITIES

Mullaloo beach

The place to be if you love to surf, waves can reach pretty ginormous heights! There is also a very cute little beachside restaurant (although this part isnt free…)

Hillarys Boat Harbour

One place that is absolutely perfect if you're travelling with young children, or if you are not a confident swimmer. This boat harbour has a beautiful little beach and there are never any waves! There's a huge selection of coffee shops and restaurants, and there is even a little wooden structure floating in the middle of the harbour with a big slide on it for the kids to play on.

Bells Rapids

This is a very easy hike, perfect for exploring the outdoors without too much climbing. Be careful with the weather, don’t forget to take water and suncream with you!

DAY ACTIVITIES

Caversham Wildlife Park

Without a doubt, one of the best ways to see Australian wildlife up close. This amazing wildlife park has hundreds of kangaroos which you can feed by hand! They also have some very pretty koalas and a few tazmanian devils!

Rottnest Island

Exploring Rottnest Island is a beautiful way to spend a day (or two)! Get to meet the huge population of ultra-adorable Quokkas! Hire a bicycle or be prepared to walk up and down quite a few hills, don’t forget to take water and snacks.

The boats to the island depart from Hillarys boat harbour and also from Fremantle Port.

Swan River Cruise

Take a scenic river cruise that goes between Perth and Fremantle for a relaxing way to see the city from the water!

FOOD

The C restaurant
The C restaurant is a restaurant at the top of a very tall building, where the entire floor rotates (slowly) so you can see every part of Perth through the floor to ceiling windows.

This restaurant is perfect for any celebrations or special events, they offer the tastiest afternoon tea (which they call High Tea)

Fremantle Markets

These markets offer so many amazing foods to try, and there are lots of very cute souvenir stalls too!
